Large quantities of liquid and solid contaminants can significantly reduce the performance of nitrogen gas springs. Moreover, difficult operating conditions shorten springs’ lifetime and jeopardise safety. Special Springs designed SKUDO to actively protect against contaminants and improve spring performance, even in harsh environments. This device is especially effective against lubrication, preventing it from depositing on the shaft and filling the cylinder such that the nitrogen volume decreases and the internal pressure increases, risking damage to the cylinder.
