A continuity looking towards the future

Dear readers,

Our journey throughout Special springs’ history reaches the current chapter: The present and future of the company. A history that, just like the springs we manufacture, is made of strength, flexibility, and adaptability.

Always looking towards the future
Special Springs has always taken the long view. And will continue to. The company, has been firmly guided by the new generation for five years: Rebecca and Dante Cappeller. A generation passage that has not been improvised, but built with care, respect and determination, a step behind the other.

Rebecca is the identity of Special Springs facing the World. After a solid international university path, in 2012, she moved to the USA to set up the branch Special Springs LLC. Her aim was not only to export a model, but also to create an effective “cultural connection”: She was able to adapt values, experience, and the tradition of Cappeller Family to the American context, building a local team able to efficiently respond to the needs of that market. In few years, she has created an autonomous structure, in line with the vision of the company, but at the same time integrated on the USA reality. After her return in Italy on 2017, she has held the position of manager of the Sales department of the group, giving a clear strategic, dynamic, and future-oriented vision.

Dante is the identity of the company on the inside. After finishing his studies, he embarked on an immersive journey of growth with humility, which led him to know every corner of Special Springs. He spent seven years working his way up, moving from one department to another: first in the wire spring production line, from coiling to packaging; then in the cylinder production line, from raw material reception to assembly. His path also brought him into the offices, including the Technical Office, where he acquired cross-functional skills and a complete view of the production chain. There, he managed to deeply understand the value of precision, customer care, and consistency in processes. Only then did he take on his leadership role, building a solid and structured management approach capable of ensuring efficiency and continuity.

Every morning, fathers and sons meet. They share experiences, compare ideas, and pass the baton naturally and with trust. It is a continuous dialogue between generations, where listening and the transfer of knowledge mix with the courage to innovate. A synergy that makes the path we have taken even stronger.

A legacy that continues
Augusto and Luciano Cappeller are still in the picture. They have always been here. But today, their presence is different. No longer necessary, but still invaluable.

Augusto walks through the departments, greets visiting customers, and proudly observes the results of a lifetime of work. Strategic decisions are no longer his to make, and yet he remains—confident that everything is in the right hands. He is proud of what he built and of those who are carrying it forward.

Luciano, every day, shares his knowledge with Dante. He listens, advises, but steps back. His role is that of someone who leads through presence, trust, and the reassurance that the path taken is the right one.

A smooth transition
The change happened gradually, without disruptions or uncertainty. We did not create waves in the market or in our client relationships. We have always worked with a clear vision, preparing for this moment with care and foresight.

Today, we can say it with confidence: the future has never scared us. And it never will.

Special Springs is ready. Has been for years. In fact, forever. In 2025, with four minds at the helm, we face the market with determination and confidence. Because even in a constantly evolving context, our direction is clear: to move forward, always.

With this last chapter the series dedicated to the history of Cappeller’s family is concluded.

Let us hope to have given you an emotion and to have inspired telling you about a path made of flexibility, passion, and dedication.
